Point & Shoot
Digital Photography

This class is for the person with a point and shoot type digital camera. Subjects covered are: composition, camera functions (beyond automatic settings), downloading to the computer, photo editing with simple photo software, emailing / putting them on the web, printing, and how to keep your images for future generations (CD/DVD burning, etc.)

4 Weeks - 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. (Wednesday)

Creative Digital
Photography

This class is for the digital photographer with a single lens reflex style digital camera or planning on purchasing one. The course will cover the basics of photography such as composition, lens selection, filters, exposure, flash photography, and processing of
the digital image from the camera to the computer. Also subjects such as white balance, sharpening, and file formats will be discussed.

6 Weeks - 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. (Wednesday)

Starts January, 2022 - Conant High School


Beginning & Intermediate Black & White Darkroom

In this project-oriented class, students experienced in printing their own black & white negatives will choose the areas they wish to explore, such as dodging and burning, toning, contrast control, multiple exposure, etc. Projects will start with the first class. Students must supply their own materials (paper and film). Contact me if interested in this class, as if there are not enough students the class will not be scheduled.

Table Top Photography

This class will be a hands on shooting experience. The student will utilize various lighting sources. Each student should bring an object or objects that can be photographed on a 26 inch wide seamless background. The use of a tripod is recommended and laptop to review images with suggestions for editing.
