James
has been showing his photo art in the Chicagoland area since 1976.
An award winning nature photographer, he has specialized in Black & White
photography since he has started showing his work. His signature
works include a wide variety of images. From "8 Seconds at Chicago
Forks" to "Calla Lilly I" in black & white and "Chicago
Sail I" and Chicago Calm I" in color. Each image evokes
emotion that will touch each and every person.
In
addition to doing art fairs he gives a series of lectures that are
presented at Chicago area public libraries and organizations/clubs.
The most popular being "Preserving Your Old Family Photographs".
Also included in the series are "Nature Photography" and "Vacation
Photography"
James
also teaches adult Continuing Education classes in photography for
Township High School District 211 at Conant High School. Courses
include "Creative Digital Photography", "Point & Shoot Digital Photogaphy" and "Table Top Photography".
Every year in early November, James presents a free photography seminar for the Hoffman Estates Arts Commission. |
